교수소개

식물은 동물체와 달리 병원균을 포함한 위험인자로부터 도망갈 수가 없습니
다. 그러나 자연상태에서 식물들이 잘 자라는 현상은 진화과정을 거치면서 식
물 또한 동물과 마찬가지로 우수한 면역 시스템을 개발, 획득했음을 의미합니
다. 본 연구실은 식물이 어떻게 병원균을 인식하고, 또 어떤 방법으로 병원균
을 퇴치하는 지를 연구하고자 합니다.
