김은경교수는 1984년 10월에 단국대학교 치과대학에 전임강사로 발령받아 단국대학교 치과대학 및 치과병원에서 강의, 연구, 진료에 임하고 있다. 주 관심분야는 digital imaging, implant imaging, dosimetry in dental imaging equipments이다.
