소개

2004년 일본문부성 국비 장학생으로 Tokyo Institute of Technology (동경공업대학, 전자물리공학전공)에 입학하여 3년간 박사 과정을 마치고, 동 대학에서 Research Associate로 1년간 참여 하였다. 그 후 2010년까지, 영국 캠브리지 대학교 캐밴디쉬 연구소에서 Research Associate로 참여 하였고, 2010년 9월, 본교 응용물리학과 교수로 부임하였다. 주요 연구 및 관심 분야는 유전체 물리를 바탕으로 한 유기반도체 소자이고, 유기트랜지스터 및 유기발광소자와 같은 유기반도체 소자의 전하수송 현상을 광학적으로 관측하고 이론적 모델링을 활용하여 지속적인 연구를 수행해 왔다. 특히, 유기반도체 소자 내 전자 및 정공의 변위를 관측한 연구결과는 Nature Photonics (2007) 및 NPG research Journal (Nature journal), Asia-Material 하이라이트 연구로 선정되었다. 또한, 동경공대 우수연구로 선정되어 교내 신문 및 웹 페이지에 소개되었다. 그 외 다양한 학술 단체들로부터 젊은 과학자상, 베스트 발표상 및 우수 논문상 등을 수상하였다.
