교수소개

<생체물질의 초임계유체내 상거동특성 해석>에 관한 논문으로 박사학위를 받고 1991년 공과대학 조교수로 부임. 학과에서 화학공학의 요소과목인 물리화학,화공열역학, 미래에너지 및 교양과목(미래기술전망, 국가경쟁력평가)을 강의하고 있다. 현재의 주요 연구분야는 대체에너지개발공정, 유해오염물질의 분해기술개발이며 미래기술에 대한 대중화와 핵심기술사항을 기업으로 이식하는 새로운 공정적용 프로그램이다. 이와 같은 학문과 생산기술과의 접목을 위해 중소기업과 대학의 연구아이템의협동과정을 추진하고 있다. 현재까지 100여 편의 연구논문과 저서를 발표했다. 연구 및 학술활동 실적을 평가받아 몇가지 상을 받기도 했다. 또한 전공 분야 외에 21세기 지식기반사회에서 필요로 하는 젊은 공학도에 대한 사회적 요구사항을 예측하는 프로그램을 제시하는데 관심을 갖고 있으며, 사회활동으로국가기술고시출제위원, 국가기술자격제도심의 전문위원, 한국공업화학회 편집이사, 홍보이사, 총무이사, 전무이사, 감사, 부회장등의 봉사활동을 하였다.
