화학과

교수소개

1973년 고려대학교 화학공학과를 졸업하고 프랑스정부 초청장학생으로 선발되어 툴루즈 폴 사바티에대학교에서 수학하여 1976년 생화학 석사학위, 1979년 유기화학 분야에서 이학박사학위를 취득하였다. 학위 논문은 "Synthese et etude physicochimique de derives ethyleniques du furanne et du thiohene. Activite antibacterienne de ces composes"이다. 1980년 본교 화학과 교수로 부임하여 유기화학 관련과목들을 강의하고 있으며 주요 연구 분야는 살균 또는 치료 효능이 있는 합성화합물이다.
1984년 부터 1년간 일본정부 초청에 따라 일본 통산성 화학기술연구소 합성화학부 객원연구원, 1995년 부터 1년간 프랑스 스트라스부르 루이 파스퇴르대학교 객원교수 자격으로 연구활동을 하였다. 초분자화학 분야의 매듭분자 합성과 특성에 관한 연구를 계속하고 있다. 2004년 부터 1년간 프랑스 툴루즈 폴 사바티에 대학교에서 객원교수 자격으로 연구활동을 하였다. 다가 리간드 합성과 생물학적 흥미로운 분자들의 물리화학적 특성에 관한 연구를 계속하고 있다.
