화예디자인전공
작품활동과 예술의 실천적 응용

화예디자인전공은 화훼를 매개로 한 예술의 한 분야로서 철학적, 역사적, 사회적, 문화적 학문 방법을 통한 이론 성찰의 기회, 그리고 다른 예술 장르와의 콜라보레이션을 통한 실천적 응용 기회를 제공하는
학문이다. 또한 화예(꽃 예술)와 연관된 인접 학문의 연구동향을 분석하여 예술창작 담론에 담긴 사유체계의 학습과 디자인을 둘러싼 문화, 예술 전반에 걸친 동ㆍ서양의 사상적인 문제의식을 탐구하여 이를 토대로 완성도 높은 화예작품을 제작 및 비평할 수 있는 시각과 능력을 갖춘 전문적인 인력을 양성하는데 목표를 두고 있다.

화예디자인 세미나 ( Floral Art Design Seminar ) 본 교과목은 화예디자인과 인접학문의 연구동향을 분석하고 새로운 연구방법을 익히는 이론 수업이다. 이를 토대로 화예분야의 전문 연구자를 배출하는 과정에 필수적으로 요청되는 학문적 글쓰기와 학술논문 작성 능력의 배양 및 이에 필요한 제반 지식을 습득하는 교육을 실시한다. 이와 더불어 전문 연구자로서 갖추어야할 연구윤리성에 대한 실증적 체험교육을 시행한다. This subject is a theory class that helps students to analyze research trend and learn new research approaches in the field of floral art design and related studies. Based on it, additional education is implemented to develop capability to write academic thesis and academic writing essential for producing professional researchers in this field, and to gain necessary knowledge for it. Along with it, positive experience-based education on research ethicality that professional researchers should have, is also implemented.
화예미학연구 ( Study of floral art esthetic ) 화훼를 매개로하여 창작활동을 하는 화예(꽃예술)가 지니는 예술적 가치와 의미를 규명하고 창작과정에 수반되어야 할 화예작가의 예술정신은 무엇인지? 창작과정에 따른 구상과 과정, 방법은 어뗘해야 하는지를 철학과 미학적 측면에 촛점을 맞추어 학습한다. 또한 다양한 동.서양미학 개념들을 분석하여 화예와 연계하여 오늘날 화예의 예술적 접근법을 제시하고자 한다. 이와 같은 인문학적 사유의 학습을 통하여 동양에서 화예의 예술행위는 기교적 활동이 아니라 화예작가의 정신을 담아내는 화도(華道)로 인식하는 계기가 될 것이다. 더 나아가 한국화예의 정체성을 연구한다. What is the artistic value and meaning of floral arts that engage in creative activities through flowers, and what is the artistic spirit of the floral arts artist that should be accompanied by the creative process? Learn how to conceive, process, and method according to the creative process by focusing on the philosophical and aesthetic aspects. In addition, by analyzing various Eastern and Western aesthetic concepts, I would like to present an artistic approach to today's painting arts in connection with painting arts. Through the learning of humanistic thinking like this, the artistic activity of painting arts in the East will not be a technical activity, but an opportunity to recognize it as an artistry that captures the spirit of a painting artist. Furthermore, it studies the identity of Korean painting arts.
디자인사 ( History of Design ) 미술공예운동에서부터 바우하우스, 안티모던디자인에 이르기까지 디자인의 역사는 철학, 예술, 경제, 사회, 문화의 분야와의 교류를 통해 융 복합의 산물이 되어 왔다. 디자인사는 디자인에 대한 개념 이해 및 명제를 철학적 사고와 인식을 기반으로 하여 해석하고 "디자인사라는 학문의 연구 대상"에 대한 이론수업이다. 본 수업은 기능주의적 모던디자인, 포스트 모던디자인 등 근현대 디자인에 대한 역사적인 맥락을 이해하여 다른 학문과 소통을 할 수 있는 연구방법을 모색하고자 한다.  
재료와 기법연구 ( Materials and techniques ) 21세기는 다문화주의 (multi-culturalism)시대이다. 예술에서도 다른 분야 간에 콜라보레이션(collavoration) 작업을 통해 상승효과를 만들어 내고 있다. 이 점에서 화예분야도  다른 분야간의 다양한 협업을 통해 새로운 형식의 종합예술로 변모해 갈 수 있는 조형시각을 갖추도록 한다. 
따라서 디자인의 요소와 원리를 기본으로, 화훼디자인에 사용될 수 있는 다양한 매체를 실험하고 새로운 소재를 개발함으로써 독창적인 디자인을 모색한다.

The 21st century is in multi-culturalism era. In the field of arts, many different genres are in collaboration with each other, creating synergic effects. Along this trend,  students learn new viewpoints toward the formative art to develop floral art and design into synthetic art in a new style through diverse collaboration with other domains. 

Therefore based on the elements and principles of design, originality of design is be searched by experimenting various media and developing materials. They can be used in designing the flowering plants.
동아시아문화와 예술 ( East Asian culture and art ) 동아시아의 의식구조 및 예술창작에 담론이 되었던 사상과 사유체계를 학습한다. 동아시아 예술의 성격과 양식은 어떠한지, 예술창작에는 어떤 메카니즘이 있는지의 이론적 학습을 토대로 하여 완성도 높은 작품을 제작 할 수 있도록 연구한다.  
한국화예사 ( History of Flowers ) 고대부터 현대까지의 화예 역사를 소개하고 이에 관련된 타 장르 문학을 비롯하여 회화, 조각, 건축 분야를 연구하여 한국화예의 역사적 변천을 이해함으로써 한국적 화예의 자생력을 모색할 수 있는 시각을 갖추도록 한다. It examines the history of painting art from ancient times to modern times. By studying other genres of literature, painting, sculpture, and architecture related to this, understanding the historical changes of Korean painting, we will have a perspective to explore the self-sustaining power of Korean painting.
조형예술디자인 ( Art and Design ) 미래지향적인 화예조형예술 전문교육 구현의 방향은 연관분야에서의 기술적, 미학적, 실용적, 문화체화적 창의성을 이해하고 신부가가치 창출을 위한 정체성으로 체득함. This topics for future-oriented FAD(Floral Art and Design) expert education system is to comprehension technical, aesthetical, practical and cultural embodied creative power in the relate field, understanding identity to create a new added value creation.
화예디자인세미나2 ( Floral Art & Design Seminar 2 ) 화예디자인(Floral Art & Design)과 관련성있는 인접학문의 다양한 연구동향을 살펴보고 이를 화예에 대한 예술 철학적, 미학적 관점에서 분석한다. 이와 같은 학습으로 화예실기와 화예이론이 병행하여 화예작품을 객관적으로 비평할 수 있는 능력을 배양한다. It examines various research trends of adjacent studies related to Floral Art & Design, and analyzes them from the artistic philosophical and aesthetic perspectives of flower art. With such learning, the ability to objectively criticize flower art works by combining flower art practice and flower art theory.
동아시아문화와 예술2 ( Culture and Art in East Asia 2 ) 동아시아의 의식구조 및 예술창작에 담론이 되었던 사상과 사유체계를 학습한다. 동아시아 예술의 성격과 양식은 어떠한지, 예술창작에는 어떤 메카니즘이 있는지의 이론적 학습을 토대로 하여 완성도 높은 작품을 제작 할 수 있도록 연구한다. Learn thoughts and thinking system that have been discussions of mindsets and artistic creation in East Asia .
Conduct research how to create higher quality works, based on theoretical learning of characteristics and styles of the East Asian Art, and mechanisms in artistic creation.
조형예술디자인 II ( Plastic Art & Design II ) 사고력 확장의 바탕으로 조형예술의 구조와 형식을 학습한다. Learn about a form and construction of plastic art based on expansion of thinking ability
화예와 조형예술 ( Floral Art & Plastic Arts ) 조형예술의 원리를 기본으로 하여 화예작품 제작의 변용과 조형적 사고의 확장을 목표로 한다. 조형적 실험과 다양한 재료를 경험함으로써 화예작품 연구과정에서 실제적인 작품의 구현과 공간을 이해하는 기회를 갖는다. 
작품제작에 필요한 기초실습과정을 통하여 화예작품에 활용가능 한 창작물을 제작한다.		 Based on the principles of formative arts, we aim to transform the production of floral art and expand formative thinking. Through formative experiments and experiences with various materials, students have the opportunity to understand the realization and space of actual works in the process of researching floral art.
Produce creative works that can be used for floral art works through the basic practice process necessary for the production of works.
화예와공간조형 ( Floral art and Space formation ) 1.본 수업은 화예디자인전공생들의 창작활동 범위를 넓히고 인문학적 가능성으로 대중과의 소통을  공간조형의 다양한 재료와 기법으로 조형요소와 원리를 실습한다.
2.조형언어를 통하여 열린사고,  대중과의 소통을 이루어나가며 다양한 재료와 기법을 통하여 개개인의 시각적 형상화 능력을 향상시키는 것을 목표로 하여 화예디자이너의 전문성을 키우는 것을 목적으로한다.

1.This class expands the scope of creative activities of flora art & design students and practices the elements and principles of spatial design using various materials and techniques to communicate with the public through humanistic possibilities.

 2.The purpose is to develop the expertise of flower designers by achieving open thinking and communication with the public through formative language, and improving each individual's visual shaping ability through various materials and techniques.
