The Survey of English Usage at University College London will be running the 8th Summer School in English Corpus Linguistics online on 1 and 2 July 2021.
This Summer School is an accessible and inspiring introductory course in corpus linguistics for students of linguistics and students of the English language.
The course will be taught over two days in the morning (UK time) which will allow participation from students in Asia. The sessions consist of theoretical and practical sessions. The theory session on the first day is on corpus linguistics methodologies, the second is on statistics.
Students are expected to have a basic knowledge of concepts in linguistics, especially grammar.
