김욱 | 과학기술대학 생명과학부
교수소개
1976년 성균관대학교 생물학과를 졸업하고, 성균관대학교에서 동물학(유전
학) 전공의 이학석사 및 이학박사 학위를 각각 1983년과 1987년에 취득하였습
니다. 박사학위 논문제목은 "Drosophila melanogaster Meigen 실험집단내의
염색체와 allozyme 다형현상"으로써 유전적 변이의 보유기전에 관한 연구를
수행하였습니다. 1988년 3월에 단국대학교 생물학과에 부임하여 현재 교수로
재직하고 있으며, 본 학과에서 유전학, 분자생물학 및 진화생물학을 강의하고
있습니다. 1992년부터 1993년까지는 미국 University of Arizona에서
Research Associate (Post-Doc)로 연구활동을 했습니다. 인류집단의 기원
과 특히 한국인집단의 과거 형성과정을 보다 분명하게 이해하기 위하여 주로
Y-염색체 DNA 및 mtDNA변이분석에 관한 분자유전학적 연구에 주력하고 있으
며, 또한 DNA 프로필 분석에 의한 유전자 감식 업무와 감식 유전학 분야의 학
술활동을 수행하고 있습니다.
