교수소개
고려대학교 식품공학과를 졸업한 후, 미국의 미시간주립대학교의 대학원 미생
물학과에서 세포주기에 의한 히스톤 유전자의 발현조절에 관한 연구로 박사학
위를 취득하였습니다. 귀국하여 단국대학교에 임용된 후에는 주로 세균에 관
하여 연구를 계속하였습니다. 처음에는 난분해성물질을 분해하는 세균의 유
전자 조절에 관심이 많았으나, 요즈음은 감염성 미생물의 항생제 내성전달에
관여하는 Integron에 관하여 연구하고 있습니다.
