교수소개

주된 전공은 절지동물의 갑각류 계통 분류로써, 전국 계류에 사는 담수산 옆새
우류를 정리하였으며, 바다에 사는 단각류인 바다대벌레 분류를 수행하였다.
멍게류인 해초류에 공생하는 copepoda와 소형갑각류인 cumacean을 조사하
고 있으며, 근래에는 해산 옆새우류의 분류학적 연구를 수행하고 있다 .
환경영향평가에 필수적인 동물상을 조사하기 위해서 그밖에 기존의 여러 분류
군의 정확한 동정을 위한 훈련도 병행하고 있다.
